Suresh Babu recently confirmed that Virata Parvam and Drushyam 2 will be heading the OTT way and these films will land on OTT very soon.
Now, an interesting speculation pertaining to Virata Parvam’s OTT release is going viral.
Apparently, Virata Parvam will be a full-on rustic drama with Telangana nativity. The dialogues, the narrative, and the whole set-up will be unconventional when compared to mainstream Telugu cinema.
So, Suresh Babu, who is producing the film doubted if the vast majority of the Telugu audience will step out to watch this regional film in theatres. So, he opted to go for the safer bet i.e, OTT.
Suresh Babu has apparently struck a deal with Netflix for the direct to digital release of Virata Parvam. The same will be made official soon.
Virata Parvam has Rana and Sai Pallavi in the lead roles and it is directed by Venu Udugula.
