The internet’s overnight sensation Ranu Mondal, who left everyone in awe with Lata Mangeshkar’s song Ek Pyaar ka Nagma hai, is now going heights both in terms of fame and money. Ranu was first spotted singing at a railway station and when the video went viral, there is no turning back for her.

The lady who came from a poor condition, not only stopped wearing her regular sarees but also changed her whole look, trying to look plush from top to toe. However, the makeover looked a bit out of track or too excessive. The latest appearance at one of her events showed Ranu in lehenga, heavy jewellery and a couple of shades lighter foundation to her skin tone, making her look completely unrecognizable.
The look has been receiving a lot of hilarious memes on the internet as Ranu was slammed by asking why obsessed only for fair skin. Some jokes were healthy and some were hurtful. Some even scolded makeup artist for trying to change her natural colour intead of embracing it. Ranu received a lot of backlash for not being original even at this age.
With immense popularity and millions of YouTube hits for her talent, Ranu was earlier criticized for showing arrogance at one of her fans too.
