It can be said that no other movie in the country faced the same amount of negativity that ‘Adipurush’ got through its teaser. A huge majority of did not like the teaser at all due to the below-par visuals and the poor graphics. The artificial looks and cartoonish characters did not impress the audience at all. The movie was subjected to a lot of trolls and the director Om Raut was criticized a lot for spending hundreds of crores on this low-quality film.
Despite showcasing the 3D version to the media personnel specially, the negativity did not fade away. With the backlash being becoming too heavy, the movie was postponed for five months. The team spent all this time for bettering the visual effects. They announced that the movie is going to hit the screens on 16th June and started working quite hard. Now, they released the trailer on Tuesday and showcased it to the public through multiple screenings across the country.
After that, they released the trailer on social media and people waited eagerly too see if the visuals were improved or not. It is without a doubt that the negative feeling that everyone got while watching the teaser is not there now. The trailer is very much compared to the teaser and the visuals look quite impressive as well. The artificial look mostly disappeared and people could relate to the epic Ramayana tale now. Despite a few over-the-top sequences and a few tacky graphics here and there, the trailer definitely pleased the audience.
With Saif Ali Khan’s look receiving a lot of criticism in the teaser, they limited the Ravanasura look to the last shot in the trailer. While the fans are singing laurels about the trailer, the regular audience say that it is quite good and definitely better than the previous promotional content. It looks like the ‘Adipurush’ team can release the film without any fear of criticism and trolls on June 16th.
