Is AP Assembly so special? Arrogance over courts yet again?

Till now, Jagan’s government has faced severe backlash from the AP high court in a number of issues, and approximately they all count for 70. They lost their dignity in front of court and public every single time and now, it seems like they haven’t learned anything from the lessons the court taught them al these days.

It is known that the YSRCP government was deeply criticized by the High Court and by the supreme court in some instances over the controversial decisions they took and unconstitutional bills they passed unanimously in assembly, like CRDA abolition, Decentralization of AP capital. Both these bills were passed in the AP assembly but were halted in the legislative council.

Though the council chairman ordered a select committee on these bills, the government used all their power not to let the select committee to interfere. Later, when the Amaravati farmers filed a petition in high court opposing the AP Capital shift, the government said that the process is still pending at the council and there will be a select committee as well.

Now, again, the AP government, to everyone’s surprise, passed both these bills in assembly. One of them was introduced by Buggana Rajendra Prasad and the other by Botsa Satyanarayana. Now, many people say that this act from the government will come under defiance of court orders and they say that this is nothing but arrogance from the AP government.

Both these bills are objected in council and its chairman referred to the Select committee. However they are pending with Governor and the high court as well. On what basis, Jagan’s government passed both these bills in assembly? AP people say that this is nothing but showing off their arrogance in front of the court.
