Shiv Khera, the best selling author who shot to fame with “You Can Win” says in one of his books: “Remember, ‘If we are not part of the solution then we are the problem’. There are people who have a habit of constantly criticising anything and everything no matter where they are. They only want to criticise without taking any corrective measures. However, if you don’t want to get involved then you have no right to criticise. Either get involved or shut up.”
Who comes to mind after reading these lines?
None other than Nandamuri Balakrishna who complained that he was not invited to the meeting with Telangana CM but denied to come when invited to the meeting with Andhra CM.
It is not something new that Balakrishna was not invited by Chiranjeevi. Earlier whenever Balakrishna was invited to the grand get together of 80s actors and actresses, he didn’t turn up for many times. Eventually he stopped getting invitations. He has also informed that Chiranjeevi hasn’t invited him to the 80s reunion.
It should be underlined that Balakrishna didn’t invite Chiranjeevi to the Lepakshi event and insulted him as well.
Balakrishna pointed out that during 2007 Vajrotsavams, Mohan Babu and Chiranjeevi have fought for the title of ‘Legend’. But the videos show that Balakrishna had stood up and clapped just after the speech of Chiranjeevi. Chiranjeevi fans are taking out all those videos and making them viral cornering Balakrishna.
These days Balakrishna seems to be suffering from inferiority complex and covering that up by expressing audacity. He is behaving differently from others and not mingling up with the rest of the industry.
Many are openly saying that he is not digesting the importance given to Chiranjeevi as ‘pedda dikku’ of the industry. In fact, Balakrishna must be silently fighting to get that ‘pedda dikku’ title like Mohan Babu and Chiranjeevi fought for ‘legend’ earlier.
“If he is invited, he will not turn up. He will not gel with us. If we decide not to disturb him and don’t send him any invitation, he gives complaints in interviews”, shared a celebrity from the Film Chamber.
