News is coming out that finally, director Parasuram is able to lock a hero and a producer for his next movie. All these days, the director is said to be looking forward to the ones who will give him the highest paycheck and it looks like he found one.
Reports are coming that production house 14 Reels is investing hugely on this movie by paying 8 crores remuneration to director Parasuram and 7 crores to Naga Chaitanya. And the making cost would be easily 20-25 crores, which makes them create the first copy at 40 crores. Other costs including that of song promotions, movie promotions will cost another 1-2 crore easily. On a whole, this is becoming a 50 crores project.
Neither Chay nor Parasuram has such a proven market in Tollywood for the now. While Parasuram’s Geetha Govindam is 70 crores collecting film, his no other film even touched the 20 crores mark till date. Same is the case with Naga Chaitanya who has only Majili in 30 cr bracket and Manam in 40+ crores bracket.
Only the film is made on a shoestring budget and the hero-director are made partners in the profits, then there will be some financial viability.
