Is Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao aka KCR taking a leaf out of his Andhra Pradesh counterpart YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in dealing with his critics who attack him personally? The ongoing political developments in Telangana are hinting the same and taking everyone by surprise.
After coming to power in the 2019 general elections, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has been following a trend of putting the same community leaders against his critics. For example, if TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu attacks him, foul mouth leader Kodali Nani, who hails from the same community responds and lashes out at Babu.
As an interesting development, the same trend is followed in Telangana. It is known that TPCC Chief Revanth Reddy gave birth to an unexpected debate on Reddy vs Velama leaders. Revanth Reddy said that, compared to others, Reddy leaders have good skills and capabilities.
Instead of KCR or KTR giving a fitting reply to Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee(TPCC) chief Revanth Reddy, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) leaders from the Reddy community are lashing out at Revanth Reddy. With this, the caste fight cannot be intensified.
The likes of the Minister of Labour and Employment of Telangana Malla Reddy and MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy have already responded to the casteist comments made by Revanth Reddy and silenced him.
