There is no wrong or right in producing a film. A producer has all the rights to produce any kind of a film with whoever he or she feels right for them and project.
But when there is a trend that one observes in a popular and long-standing production house like Suresh Productions, one wonders why are they going in that particular direction.
Do they see some unique business opportunity that others are unable to? One tries to dissect and understand the underlying strong reasoning behind their actions.
Currently, Suresh Productions has decided to concentrate mostly on Remakes. They recently invested in Narappa, a remake of Asuran and Drushyam 2, another remake.
Their next film project is also a remake involving Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh in Rana Naidu. This is said to be a remake of popular English web series and it is being produced for Netflix.
Now, they have annouced another film, Dongalunnaru Jagaratta with MM Keeravani’s son, Sri Simha in the lead. This movie is also expected to be a remake of South American action film. They are producing this film in association with Manzar Films.
Also, Nivetha and Regina Cassandra movie Shakini Dhakini is said to be a remake of Korean film. There is a buzz that Rana might work on Maanadu remake too. Hence, the Suresh Productions team for time being seems to be concentrating on remakes, ONLY.
