Actually, Tamil composer Anirudh has done very less work in Telugu films, but some of his Tamil songs are a super hit in the two Telugu states too. And then, he’s here earlier to compose for Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavasi but director Trivikram has put the blame squarely on the youngster saying that he didn’t understand Telugu music.
Though the songs and background score of Agnyaathavasi are good, Trivikram’s blatant story and spineless execution made that film a flop. However, that affected the chances of the young composer here. Finally, he got Nani’s Jersey and the songs sounded average before the release. But after the release, the story is different.
Apparently, Anirudh’s BGM is completely stunning and took the film’s result to the next level. As that talk is out, the composer tweeted a dialogue straight of Petta movie, where Rajnikanth says, “Na Pani Ayipoindi Anukuntunnara?”. Does that sound like anything less than a satire to director Trivikram?
By roping in big composers, films won’t run or score a blockbuster, but when you provide them with the right content, then the teamwork will see a victory.
