There was a time when Sunil was considered as the top comedian in Tollywood after Brahmanandam. He was seen in almost every film till 2010. He enjoyed a stupendous craze as a comedian but his luck changed after he became a hero. After a few hits initially, he failed to deliver impressive films and quickly went out of shape too. He lost his comic timing and many thought he would fade away. But he impressed everyone as a villain in movies like ‘Color Photo’ and ‘Pushpa’. He is now handling both comedy and villain roles simultaneously and became busy again.
But the recent films he did have disappointed the audience heavily. His characters are also quite poor in these flicks and people are questioning his script selection. Recently, he came up with movies every week. He was seen in ‘Darja’, ‘Pandu Gaad’, ‘Bujji Ila Raa’ and others but none of them brought him a good remake. On top of that, he is being panned for taking such films just because of money.
Sunil is a very good actor and there is no denying it. His portrayal of characters like Mangalam Srinu from ‘Pushpa’ or Seshu from ‘Sontham’ showcases his versatility. At a time when everyone thought that he would act in key characters in big films one after the other, he is seen playing silly roles in small films. The career graph is rapidly sliding down due to such films. Since it is a Trivikram film, Sunil will be seen in #SSMB28. He is also a part of Ram Charan-Shankar’s project and #NTR30 with Koratala Siva. He will soon be seen in Megastar Chiranjeevi’s ‘Godfather’ too. His fans are hoping to see him in good roles in the coming days.
