Sid made his Bollywood debut with Rang De Basanti where he played a key role. Soha Ali Khan who was also part of the blockbuster movie was bowled over by the charm of Sid who was alleged to be a big flirt like few of his onscreen roles.Sid then moved on to Soha’s house in Mumbai. As per reports, Siddharth’s relationship with Soha Ali Khan is alleged to be the reason for his separation with his wife Meghna.
Though Sid was flooded with offers in Bollywood post Rang De Basanti, he had rejected all of them as he was not comfortable in Mumbai, thus he had signed only South films then. In fact, he always used to have arguments with Soha for silly reasons. Though Soha compromised numerous times, she couldn’t spare him anymore.
So, after a heated argument, Sid moved out of Soha’s house.
Romance With Shruti Haasan:
Siddharth didn’t waste much time to start his fresh affair. It was rumored that he was seeing a south Indian girl. It was later revealed that the Bommarillu star was romantically involved with his Anaganaga O Dheerudu co-star Shruti Haasan. Later, they acted together in another film Oh My Friend.Shruti who was in deep love with Siddharth had refused film offers in Bollywood. She even moved out of her musical band as to spend good time with Sid.
However, when they wished to take their relationship to next level, few misunderstandings led to their separation.
Short Time Romance With Deepa Sannidhi:
Siddharth is said to have recommended Kannada actress Deepa Sannidhi in his film SaradhiEnakkul Oruvan. The duo came out for public events together which added fuel to their relationship. But, this relationship end in very short span. It was just give and take connection, as per reports.
Love Affair With Samantha:
Siddharth then charmed actress Samantha with whom he starred in Jabardast. When Sam was contemplating wedding with Siddharth, her friends warned to keep distance with him.A close friend of Sam is said to have cautioned her that Siddharth was a womanizer and he’s not serious about relationships.On the flip side, Siddharth put many restrictions before Samantha who is friendly in nature with her co-stars. It was also speculated that, Sid didn’t like Sam wearing glamorous outfits in her films and when they go out for public events.
Finally, they put up an end to their relationship.
Later, Samantha married her Ye Maya Chesave co-star Naga Chaitanya.In fact, when the rumors of Sam seeing Chay were doing rounds, Sid posted a harsh statement in social media to exhibit his agony.
Currently, Siddharth is single and he’s ready to mingle. But, he’s unable to charm another girl after all these years.
