Many political watchers felt that when he skipped the important TDP meet in Tadepalli, Vizag North TDP MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao was actually indicating that he was all set to leave the TDP.
It was also believed that he would even move closer to the YSRCP. But, now it is emerging that Ganta is actually trying to bring the TDP and the Jana Sena together to carve out a master alliance to defeat the YSRCP.
Ganta is said to be of the opinion that neither the TDP nor the Jana Sena would not be in a position to win if they fought alone. Hence the need of the hour, according to Ganta Srinivasa Rao, is to bring them together into an alliance. He feels that his good relations with both Pawan Kalyan and Chiranjeevi from the Praja Rajyam Party days would stand him in good stead.
Ganta is said to be trying to bring both the parties together. It is because of this that he had missed the key meeting called by Chandrababu Naidu. He is planning to broach the subject with Chandrababu Naidu soon. He is planning to pay the cupid for both the political parties so that they can put up a credible opposition to the YSRCP.
If what Ganta is doing reaches fruition, then the YSRCP would have to face a stiff challenge in 2024. He is said to be quite busy with this mission. If all works out well, he may even bring the BJP into the alliance against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
