India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani’s wedding with Anand Parimal concluded with unprecedented media coverage. The lavish wedding was attended by India’s biggest stars to many politicians.
47 year old Mangalurean photographer Vivek Sequeira got the opportunity to capture the moments of Isha and Anand wedding. Vivek was the recipient of ‘Best Wedding Photographer’ for the years 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2014. Through a common friend of the Ambanis, Vivek got the offer.
However, Vivek had no clue initially but was asked to be available from December 1st to 15th. In October he got to know that it is the big fat Ambani’s wedding. He could not sleep for two days to digest this and slowly started realising it.
A team of 17 along with Vivek capture nearly 1.2 Lakh photos filling up 30 TB of hard disk of the wedding which included many events such as housewarming, pre-wedding bash, other ceremonies, star performances.
A month deadline is given to Vivek to submit the album of the wedding. Vivek is hell down with the work.
