It’s Baahubali Time!! Lets Demand

The success of “Baahubali 2” at box office is quite roaring that 1000 crore ‘gross’ mark looked very simple. Unanimous applause, stupendous reviews and great words from top celebs become a routine for this movie. But this is the time dynamics of how Telugu industry is being treated should be changed, opine cinema lovers.

Already Bollywood is wondering how come Rajamouli and his actors have minted crores at the box office despite the lead actors not turning up on TV in any game shows, charity events and other television operas. If that’s a worry of Bollywood, then Tollywood should now focus more on instilling Telugu pride in the things we do.

As everyone came to know about the power of Telugu cinema now, whose stories always have pan-Indian appeal, it’s high time actors acting in Telugu movies learn every bit of spoken Telugu. Let girls from Mumbai learn Telugu language and stop them saying this popular ‘a..n..d..a..r..i..k..i n-a-ma-sk-aa-ra-mm’ dialogue. There is no objection for other language actors coming up here, but what is the use if they say A-B-C-D during shoots and speaking in English at press meets?

Also rather running after some English names, let titles of Telugu films be either in Telugu or Sanskrit. Some others opined that outdated Telugu film style of functioning should also get eradicated and more disciplined ways should be incorporated rather exploiting talents like Assistant directors, say some cine experts.

Young filmmakers maybe should demand these changes and take Telugu cinema to next level, not in terms of amassing huge money but in work culture and functioning wise too.
