There is nothing bigger and better than Megastar Chiranjeevi and Nandamuri Balakrishna locking horns in the theatres. This onscreen rivalry has been going on for the last thirty years and the senior heroes are in no mood to stop even today. While Balayya scored his career’s biggest hit with ‘Akhanda’, Chiru released two films this year in the form of ‘Acharya’ and ‘Godfather’.
Mythri Movie Makers are producing both Chiru and Balayya’s films and if things stand as it is, #Mega154 and #NBK107 will be coming out on during the same festive season. While there is Prabhas’ ‘Ardipurush’ and Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ arriving during the big festive season, it is Chiranjeevi and Balayya who will be stealing the spotlight.
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 107th film is a complete action drama which is being directed by Gopichand Malineni. Popular Kannada actor Duniya Vijay will be seen as the antagonist in this movie while Varalakshmi Sarathkumar is playing a key role. Glamorous lady Shruti Hassan is going to be the female lead in this project. The teaser got a phenomenal response and makers have planned to release it during the Sankranti season.
Coming to the 154th film of Chiranjeevi, it is being directed by Bobby and the teaser will be coming out on Diwali. This is going to be a mass bonanza as per the film’s unit and with Ravi Teja playing a full-length role, the audience are going to have a blast seeing the ‘Annayya’ combo together on the big screens again. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad is composing music for a Megastar’s film once again after ‘Khaidi No. 150’. Arthur A Wilson is handling the cinematography. Niranjan Devaramane is the editor and AS Prakash is the production designer.
