The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday inaugurated the new chariot in Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Antarvedi.
The Vedic scholars gave blessings to CM YS Jagan. The CM visited Swami and then participated in the Archana and mantra pushpam offerings.
He then started the new chariot built at a cost of one crore rupees. The Chief Minister performed special pujas at the new chariot.
Along with the devotees, CM pulled the new chariot with a rope. The new chariot was built with 1,330 cubic feet of buster teak.
The new chariot was built in a record time of 3 months. Jagan returned to Thadepalli at 1.30 pm after the Antarvedi tour.
