A lot is being debated about AP CM YS Jagan not getting an invitation to banquet dinner hosted by President of India to the US President Donald Trump on February 25th. Only eight CMs from the country got an invitation and among them was Telangana CM KCR.
The main opposition in AP, TDP and its boss Chandrababu Naidu found fault with AP CM who was snubbed. The TDP chief claimed that US officials might have done their research on Jagan and so they never wanted him to be there. This is a ridiculous claim we have to say.
Countering this, AP minister Botsa lashed out at Chandrababu. “The opposition is doing unnecessary drama on Jagan not being invited. For that matter, Jagan is the most charismatic leader in the country and this might be the reason he was overlooked,” said Botsa.
“Jagan is not the only CM, even West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik too did not get invitation for the dinner. So what’s the big deal in it? Oppositions need look for other issues rather than focusing on a dinner,” added Botsa speaking to the media in Vizag.
Settling this, the dinner is really no big thing. Had Jagan made it to dinner, overnight investments won’t flood on AP. So it’s better to leave this behind.
