YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has released a book on his 10 years of political career, written by popular writer and columnist M B S Prasad, at Dallas Convention Centre, where he addressed a huge gathering of Telugu NRIs on Saturday local time (early hours of Sunday IST).
The book, titled “Jagan Prasthanamlo O Dasabdi (2009-19), Oka Samanyudi Drukkonam” (A decade in the journey of Jagan, a common man’s view point), is a compilation of hundreds of articles written by Prasad in us website and magazine between 2009 and 2019.
The book, which was published by us, was unveiled by Jagan amidst cheers by thousands of NRIs, in the presence of the organisers of the event.
The chief minister appreciated the efforts of the writer and publisher for bringing out the book on his struggle for heralding a new era in Andhra Pradesh.
Prasad, the writer, sought to narrate how Jagan single-handedly fought against powerful political forces who sought to crush him after the death of his father.
It explains how he withstood the conspiracies hatched against him by his detractors who implicated him in false cases and threw him behind the bars; and how he managed to overcome all the hurdles one after the other with the support of millions of people and finally achieve his goal.
