Just 23 days are left for the declaration of results of assembly elections in Andhra Pradesh that would decide the fate of both Telugu Desam Party and YSR Congress party.
While both the parties are exuding confidence that they would come to power in the state, almost all the local and national surveys have predicted an edge to YSR Congress party and some of them even predicted a landslide victory for the party.
Irrespective of the survey results, the YSRC camp is already in a celebration mood, so much so that they have even started discussing about who the lucky MLAs would be who could make it to the state cabinet. Some others have also started lobbying for key positions in the government.
Not to be outdone, astrologers have also started predicting the right muhurtam for the swearing-in ceremony of Jaganmohan Reddy as the chief minister.
It is learnt the party leaders have already finalized the muhurtham for the function.
According to a source, some party leaders have engaged the services of Brahmasri Murapaka Kalidasa Sarma, a prominent astrologer of Parvathipuram in Vizianagaram district to fix the auspicious muhurtham for Jagan’s swearing in ceremony.
As per the astrologer, Jagan, whose birth star is Arudra, can take oath at 9.29 am on May 26 (Sunday). This muhurtham falls on Bahula Sapthami with Dhanistha star and Karkataka Lagnam.
“Since this has the favourable looks of Guru (Brihaspati) planet, it is very ideal for him to take oath as the chief minister,” Sarma said.
