Jagan To Hold Counter-BC Rally!

Apparently realising that Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been desperately making attempts to attract Backward Classes with a series of sops, YSR Congress party quickly jumped into action and decided to launch a counter-offensive.

Even as the TDP leaders are jubilant over the “success” of Jayaho BC convention at Rajahmmundry, YSRC leaders who met in Hyderabad under the leadership of party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy decided to hold BC Garjana in the third week of February.

Naidu announced a series of welfare schemes in the Jaiho BC convention in order to attract the BC community in the state.

The party leaders feel that the success of the convention has built confidence in Naidu and would largely attract the BCs towards the TDP in the coming elections.

The YSRC leaders felt that if the party does not react quickly, it might damage the party prospects. So, the YSRC will reach closer to BC voters with the BC Garjana.

Jagan asked the party leaders to take it into people that the TDP government has done nothing for the betterment of BCs in the state.

The YSCRP leaders are confident that the party will form the government after the elections. They are hopeful that the Navaratnalu would definitely attract BC voters.

In order to organize BC Garjana well, YSRCP is taking three weeks of time, in this gap YS Jagan is planning on the possibilities of declaring the better welfare schemes to BC voters than TDP.
