Investments from big companies and foreign companies are key for any state for its development and growth. In the case of states like Andhra Pradesh, which was bifurcated without a capital city then the importance of the investments is crucial to the core.
Keeping this in mind, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy sought permission from the CBI to go to Davos to get investments for the state and he is on his way to the destination. Accompanied by a few Ministers, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will take part in the World Economic Forum.
Given the problematic situation of the state where the government is not able to pay the salaries and pensions without a long delay, there are high expectations on the Chief Minister that he would do wonders.
No company will come to a state that has no capital and proper facilities. It is interesting to see how the Chief Minister would convince the companies and make them put big investments in the state, that is waiting for the companies to come.
On the other hand, this is the first outing of Jagan after he took over the CM post. With the previous Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu managing to bring a few companies during his regime, it will be interesting to see how Jagan fares in his debut Davos visit.
