Jagan warns Reddy and Yadav of stringent action

Minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy and former minister P Anil Kumar Yadav of Nellore district have had an ongoing rivalry for a long time now, and the two have never seen eye to eye. Recently, after Yadav was dropped from the cabinet and Reddy was given a place in the cabinet, things got worse, with the two leaders organising meetings at the same time in the district, with their followers.

Both the leaders today visited Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his camp office in Tadepalli, where the CM is said to have warned them of stringent action if they do not tone down their comments and actions against each other. He said that the differences between the two leaders shouldn’t become so bad that it has a bad impact on their political careers and on their party.

On the other hand, nothing has been very well in the YSRCP ever since the cabinet was shuffled, as many members were left disappointed after they were not incorporated into the cabinet, despite being loyal members of the party for several years. Jagan has been trying his best to make sure that this sense of disappointment subsides in the party soon, by personally offering his apologies to all those who were left disappointed by the cabinet shuffling. However, it is to be seen to what extent Jagan has been successful, in the days to come.
