The ruling party of Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP has clean swept in the AP municipal elections. The opposition parties of AP are out of sight in the AP Municipal polls. YSRCP has received success with an immense majority.
The ruling YSR Congress party acquired 11 corporations, 74 municipalities, and city panchayats across the state. The ruling party leaders like MP Vijaysai Reddy are alleging that there is no future for either TDP or Janasena in AP politics.
In the Municipal elections, the vote share of YSRCP is around 50 percent. He said that the TDP has lost 10 percent of the vote share and Janasena has lost 2 percent of the vote share during the last 23 months of Jagan’s reign.
Based on this, Vijayasai Reddy said that both TDP and Janasena have lost 12 percent of the vote share collectively. He made it clear that YSRCP has gained this 12 percent vote share through the Navaratnalu schemes introduced by AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and with this, the total vote share of Jagan increased to 62 percent.
