Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was supposed to go to Delhi on Monday, and meet with several Union Ministers, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Jal Shakti Minister Shekhawat, among many others.
The union ministers are said to have not given Jagan an appointment on Monday, citing busy schedules, are said to have informed that they would be able to give the CM an appointment only on Thursday or Friday. Thus, it is being said that Jagan will now go to Delhi on Thursday.
AP officials continue to maintain that Jagan wants to meet with Shah and Shekhawat to request them to release the funds for the Polavaram project and to discuss the long-pending issues regarding the bifurcation of the state. However, speculations are rife that the real reason behind Jagan going to Delhi and wanting to meet with Union ministers is because of the bail cancellation petition that YSRCP rebel MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju filed against CM Jagan, in the CBI Court.
Just last week, the CBI told the CBI court to go ahead with its investigation and to take the necessary decision, based on the case evidence. Apart from this, RRR has also lodged several complaints against the AP CID, regarding his custodial nature, which is causing quite the discussion. Jagan is said to want to discuss and clear things out with Amit Shah.
