The YSR Congress Social Media wing was on a roll in the pre-poll period of the 2019 general elections and later on, they are very much struggling to backup the controversial decisions of their beloved leader. Recently, defending the AP CM, they said that the high court judges were given house lands in Amaravati by former CM Chandra Babu Naidu and hence they are troubling Jagan in High Court by issuing a stay on the implementation of the capital decentralization bill.
YSRCP Ministers are alleging the same. However, Chandrababu did not provide free housing to the judges. He allocated housing for IAS and IPS officers as well as judges, NGOs, and journalists. Everyone has to pay money. The judges who got lands paid Rs. 25 lakhs each and even the IAS and IPS also paid the same. They were just given lands for the marginal market price at that period of time.
After all, the money they have paid is still with the government. Journalists also paid a chunk in whole for those housing sites but no one’s home dream is not fulfilled yet. In fact, it did not start with Chandrababu that journalists along with judges and IAS and IPS officers were given houses.
Prashasan Nagar, located in the heart of the Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad, is entirely a government-owned land for All India Service officers. There is also a journalist colony next to it. There are many judges who have taken places from the government for decades.
Even when YS Rajasekhar Reddy was the Chief Minister of the joint state, a G.O was issued allocating houses to judges and journalists along with IAS and IPS officers. Unlike the other Chief Ministers YS gave the disputed land. Therefore the judges said that they don’t want those lands and the journalists who came forward and took those lands are visiting courts for justice.
The central government has also allotted housing places at Noida to judges who have served and are serving in the Supreme Court. All these situations are not visible to YSRCP as they only want to take over Chandra Babu Naidu and in that other, they go blind and even blame the judicial system of the country without any worries.
