Jahnavi wants to recreate her mom Sridevi’s hit dance numbers

In the most recent two years Jahnavi had kept herself occupied with many Bollywood films. The entertainer beyond a reasonable doubt misses her late on-screen character mother Sridevi and opened up about the same in an event at Filmfare. Star kids consistently have the implicit pressure on them being children of big iconic actors and Jahnavi is no exception as she had experienced that burden on her shoulders for quite a while.

It’s known that Sridevi consistently emphasised her that in dance it’s not just about the steps, they are the exact opposite thing that you should consider. Most significantly, she said while shaking a leg to a tune one ought to enjoy wholeheartedly and have a great time while doing it. “I recall one specific rehearsal as a child where I saw mother practice after a long time. She was simply superficially checking the dance moves in the home’s corridor as opposed to practicing it,” Jahnavi said.

When Filmfare spokesperson questioned, which songs would she love to perform, Bubbly actress Jahnavi disclosed that she would like to recreate few iconic songs from her mother Sridevi’s films. The actress said although there are many songs she would like to re-enact, it would be tough to match with her mother’s moves.

She added, “I don’t know, may be all her songs from Chandni and Kaate Nahi Kat Te from Mr India. It isn’t literally a dance number, nonetheless she was so expressive with her body. There wasn’t a particular dance movement as such, but she could groove to the rhythm with effortless ease. Those latkas and jhatkas were all perfectly timed. Hawa Hawai was such a fun song. Apparently, the part where she’s having a ball of a time with the fruits and topi was absolutely improvised.”
