The party bosses are now coming to feel that Jana Reddy has used the carte blanche given by it to further the political interests of his son Raghuveer Reddy.
The high command and the state unit of the Congress Party have felt that given his popularity and reach, Jana Reddy would be right choice for the Nagarjunasagar bypoll. Hence is offered the seat to him. Then it also agreed to Jana Reddy’s request to defer the announcement of the PCC chief as it could lead to further divisions in the party. Jana too had begun extensively touring the constituency.
But here came the anti-climax. Of late, Jana is pushing for the candidature of his son Raghuveer.
