Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan jetted off to New Delhi Monday amid outrage over the privatization of Vizag Steel Plant. The actor turned politician recently announced that he would talk to Centre about the steel plant and discuss with the BJP leadership on safeguarding the steel plant, which symbolizes the self-respect and aspirations of the Telugu people.
Pawan was accompanied by Janasena Political Advisory Committee Chairman Nadendla Manohar to Delhi. He recently announced that his party is against the privatization of the steel plant and would appeal to the Centre to reverse the decision.
Pawan Kalyan is likely to bring the issue to BJP national president JP Nadda’s attention. He would discuss the issue with the top leader and also likely to meet other union ministers of the country.
Pawan have to take the initiative in this regard, as the steel plant is in Gajuwaka constituency where he is contesting. Being a problem in his own constituency, he is likely to strongly urge not to implement this decision.
Along with this issue, the Janasena chief will also discuss about finalizing the Tirupati by-election candidate along with the panchayat elections in the state. More details on his Delhi visit are awaited.
