Young and beautiful girl Janhvi Kapoor made a grand entrance in Bollywood with ‘Dhadak’. She got decent remarks for her acting and earned a lot of fans for her looks. Many thought that she had all the qualities to become a big star in Bollywood but luck wasn’t in her favour.
‘Gunjan Saxena’ was a hit but people criticised her acting in that film and her other films like ‘Ghost Stories’ and ‘Roohi’ ended up as failures. Her Hindi career turned pale and there are no encouraging signs for her. Despite coming from a big family and having Karan Johar’s support, Janhvi Kapoor is unable to find that one big success that can turn her career. She doesn’t have any big offers in the North and reports suggest that she is not getting good chances in the South too.
Insiders say that Janhvi’s marketing team who are trying to project her as a pan-Indian star when she is clearly not. She is just a regular young hero with family backing who needs to prove herself like Kareena or Alia before turning into a pan-Indian star. Apparently, they are demanding 4 crores as Janhvi’s remuneration which is driving the producers away. Seems like Janvhi’s own team is turning out to be a roadblock in the youngster’s career.
