The movie ‘Japan’ is actor Karthi’s 25th movie, and it is a milestone for him as he is one of the very few actors who is delivering back-to-back hits and that too with unique concepts. This time, the actor collaborated with National Award-winning director Raju Murugan, whose previous movie Joker won many accolades. Produced by SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu under Dream Warrior Pictures, the movie is being released in Telugu by Annapurna Studios. The movie, which will release in theaters on November 10, will see Anu Emmanuel play the female lead.
According to Karthi, he chose Japan because it has a very unique and new concept, which impressed him a lot. He said that Japan reflects today’s society with all the fun elements. Speaking to the media, he shared, “This story connects to everyone, and it has a universal story element. I already knew that this role would be very unique. This character needs a new Karthi. I changed myself accordingly. Even during the dubbing, I ensured Karthi’s essence was not evident anywhere. It turned out great.
