King Khan Shah Rukh Khan came onto the silver screen after nearly four years with ‘Brahmastra’. He played a small role in the magnum opus and left a huge impact. He is now working on three huge projects namely ‘Pathan’, ‘Jawaan’ and ‘Dunki’. While ‘Pathan’ is expected to hit the screens on 25th January 2023, ‘Jawaan’ was announced to release on 2nd June 2023. There is a huge buzz on ‘Jawaan’ since it is directed by young star Tamil director Atlee.
The special teaser which came out a few months back showcased SRK with a lot of cuts over his face and he covered it with a white cloth. It hides his entire face but reveals a small portion which is enough for the fans to go crazy. He is seen in a small house at the beginning and it is filled with weapons. SRK is seen packing some of them and going to a metro station where he is sitting quietly while watching himself in the windows of a moving metro rail.
It created a lot of hype on the movie, and reports suggest that it already did a huge pre-release business of 250 crores. The satellite rights of ‘Jawaan’ are bagged by Zee TV and the digital rights were sold to Netflix. The makers have reportedly grabbed 250 crores from satellite and digital rights. This is a huge number and one can only expect how the theatrical business is going to be. SRK’s superstardom and Atlee brand seems to have done wonders for ‘Jawaan’.
