JD Lakshmi Narayana has visited the famous Arunachalam temple in the East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday and offered his prayers to the presiding deity at the holy shrine.
After his temple visit, the Former CBI Joint Director spoke to the media. Talking about his further plans, Lakshmi Narayana said, he took 10 acres of land on lease for farming.
I have decided to venture into farming, as a bid to understand farming and the issues that come with cultivation directly. I will start farming in the land, Lakshmi Narayana told reports.
Political experts are smelling that Lakshmi Narayana wants to make a strong political statement with his new comments as farmers’ protest is the much-talked-about issue in the country now.
His meeting with noted Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham added fuel to the reports of political statements. However, the duo said they met casually and there is no political meeting behind the meeting.
In the 2019 elections, Lakshmi Narayana, who was Jana Sena leader then has contested from the port city Vizag for Lok Sabha and lost the elections. He was restricted to third place in the polls.
