The introduction of English medium in all government schools in Andhra Pradesh, is a big debate all over the state. The oppositions are mainly claiming that YS Jagan is encouraging English medium only at the behest of his community. While this issue going on, AP CM Jagan took over more decision in favour of Christian religion.
The YSRCP government has hiked the financial aid for Christian community people who would like to travel to Jerusalem. For people under Rs 3 Lakh income, the financial aid is increased from Rs 40,000 to Rs 60,0000 while for people above Rs 3 Lakh income, the aid is hiked from Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000.
This decision to increase the financial aid was taken in the last cabinet meeting but on Tuesday, the YSRCP government has passed the G.O.
The oppositions may not comment on this because just like Muslims take up Haj pilgrimage tour, Christians do go to Jerusalem and in the past many governments have financially supported such people.
