Jisshu Sengupta on board for Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy

Nani’s upcoming film ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ has created a fair deal of buzz among the audience. The first look poster of the film was unveiled recently, coinciding with the actor’s birthday, which sees Nani playing the role of a Bengali man in the Telugu film.

The makers of the film today welcomed talented & dedicated actor Jisshu Sengupta on board for Shyam Singha Roy. The actor is quite popular for his antagonist role in Naga Shourya’s Aswathama.

The film is helmed by director Rahul Sankrityan, which happens to be his second directorial outing after Taxiwala. It has been conceptualised and written by Janga Satyadev. The film also stars Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty of Uppena fame, and Madonna Sebastian.

Shyam Singha Roy is a period drama and is set in Kolkata. The film was supposed to back by Naga Vamsi of Sithara Entertainment. But because of reservations about the film’s high-budget, the actor brought in Venkat Boyanapalli of Niharika Entertainment.
