Speaking at the pre-release event (for Tamil audience) of RRR the other day, Ram Charan and Jr NTR shared a whole lot of pleasantries for each other. They were seen calling each other brothers through the course of their addressing and this stood as one of the main attractions of the whole event.
“I am lucky to have found a brother like Jr NTR. I am thankful to the RRR team for making it happen. I will take my brotherhood with NTR till the very last day of my life. NTR has a child like a mentality and lion-like personality. He is like a bother to me and I will cherish these memories for the rest of my life,” Ram Charan said.
Jr NTR too made a very similar statement. “Ram Charan is like a brother to me. We share a great bonding and I thoroughly enjoyed working on RRR. If needed, I can reshoot each and every shot of RRR just so that I can spend more time with you(Ram Charan). Such is the kind of love and admiration I have towards you,” Jr NTR said.
Rajamouli said he is lucky as a filmmaker to have found an actor like Jr NTR. “Not just me, the entire Indian film industry is lucky to have found an actor like Jr NTR. He is a truckload of talent. Coming to Charan, I learn a lot from him. He is a very composed lad who doesn’t come with any preconceived notions. This is the best thing about Charan. He comes with an open mind onto the sets and delivers whatever the director wants with utmost ease and charm,” Rajamouli said.
The camaraderie between Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan stood as the focal point of the whole event and it was absolutely refreshing to watch the three stalwarts of South Indian cinema share a great rapport on stage and off it as well. The trio is seen in full flow in the event. RRR is set to hit the silver screens across the globe on the 7th of Janaury 2022. More promotional material will be unveiled by the unit in the days to follow.
