Kalyan Ram recently announced his upcoming project Bimbisara, a folklore action thriller. The first look posters of the film showcased Kalyan Ram as a barbaric king and they raised curiosity.
If the latest reports are to be believed, Bimbisara will be made in 3 parts. The shooting for the first part is close to completion and it will be hitting the big screens later this year or early next year.
The makers are spending big bucks on the trilogy. The filming for the two subsequent parts will commence after a brief gap.
Mallidi Vashista is directing the trilogy and Kalyan Ram himself is funding it.
Bimbisara trilogy is, by far the most ambitious and costliest project in Kalyan Ram’s career. It remains to be seen if the gamble pays off.
