Tollywood is following a new trend right now. Many filmmakers are starting the film to narrate the story within two and half hours and when they feel that it needs a long duration to explore it completely, they are announcing that the film will be released in two parts.
For example, ‘Baahubali’ was started as a single project but a couple of months into the shooting, Rajamouli realised that such a huge story cannot be explained in three hours. So, he announced that ‘Baahubali’ will be coming in two parts. Similar to it, the team of ‘Pushpa’ too decided that it will be arriving as two films halfway into the shooting. Sukumar decided to come up with two parts for ‘Pushpa’ since the story is very big and many details may go missing when they confine it to less than three hours.
The latest addition to this list is Kalyan Ram’s upcoming fantasy drama ‘Bimbisara’. The first look poster created a huge hype and Kalyan Ram looked fierce and violent in the warrior getup. As per sources, the team decided to split the story into two parts to make it more interesting and include a lot of elements in the story. Let us wait and see how this strategy works for Kalyan Ram’s film.
