Kalyan Ram’s Movie “Devil” Breaks the Trend; Here’s Why

Big movies today tend to have longer runtimes, but Kalyan Ram’s upcoming film “Devil” is breaking that trend. Usually, recent films have run time for more than two and a half hours. Sandeep Reddy’s ” Animal” and Prabhas’ “Salaar” followed the same. Many expected Kalyan Ram to follow the same, especially with “Devil” being a significant project in his career, different from the usual periodic movies.

However, recent updates clarified things. The film “Devil” has completed its censor formalities and secured a U/A certificate. Surprisingly, its runtime is just 2 hours and 26 minutes, which seems to be an ideal duration.

“Devil – The British Secret Agent” is a historical action film written by Srikanth Vissa and directed by Naveen Medaram. Starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Samyuktha Menon, and Satya Akkala, the movie features music by Harshavardhan Rameshawar, cinematography by Soundar Rajan, and editing by Tammiraju. Abhishek Nama produced the film under Abhishek Pictures Banner. The film is set to hit theaters on the 29th, promising a successful end to the year.

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram recently starred in the 2023 action-thriller “Amigos,” where he portrayed three different roles. Directed by Rajendra Reddy, the film received a mix of reviews from both fans and critics. Additionally, in 2022, the actor appeared in “Bimbisara,” directed by debutant Mallidi Vassishta. This film boasted an ensemble cast, including Catherine Teresa, Samyuktha Menon, Vivan Bhatena, and Prakash Raj, in significant roles.
