All eyes are on young Tollywood hero N T Rama Rao at present. The topic of discussion is whether he would join the delegation of Telugu film industry to meet YSR Congress party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy or not.
While most of the people in the Tollywood circles firmly believe that NTR would definitely go to Tadepalli to meet Jagan, but the Telugu Desam Party followers in the industry are not able to digest the reports.
Many of the TDP supporters are of the view that if NTR goes to the meeting with Jagan, it would be the biggest blunder of his lifetime.
There is already a criticism against him for not openly condemning the abusive language allegedly used by the YSRC members against TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Nara Bhuvaneshwari.
Now, if he accompanies the Tollywood delegation to meet the Andhra chief minister, it would send wrong signals not only to the TDP but also to the family members of his grandfather, legendary actor N T Rama Rao.
The TDP followers are not taking it seriously with Mahesh Babu being part of the delegation to meet Jagan, though he happens to be the brother-in-law of TDP MP Galla Jayadev. But they are upset with the reports that NTR is going to Jagan’s residence.
It makes one wonder why these TDP ranks are so much worried about NTR’s meeting with Jagan.
Right from the beginning, TDP followers and leaders, apart from a particular community, are owning up NTR. So, they are not able to digest the reports that he would be going to Jagan for talks.
Moreover, right from the beginning, Naidu’s brother-in-law and TDP legislator Nandamuri Balakrishna has not been part of the efforts being made by megastar Chiranjeevi to resolve the issues concerning the film industry, though Balakrishna, too, is a senior actor and is still active in Tollywood.
Maybe, because of this reason, this section of Tollywood is not taking kindly the reports of NTR attending the meeting with Jagan.
It remains to be seen whether NTR would really go to Tadepalli or whether this section would prevail upon him and change his mind to drop his plans.
