Bollywood actress and filmmaker Kangana Ranaut recently expressed her desire to direct a film featuring the three iconic Khans of Indian cinema – Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan. During the trailer launch of her upcoming directorial venture “Emergency”, Ranaut shared her vision for a project that would showcase the immense talent and social impact of these superstars.
Kangana Ranaut envisions a film that would bring together the three Khans, allowing her to highlight their artistic abilities beyond their commercial success. “I would love to produce and direct a film with all three Khans. And I would also love to show the talented side of theirs, wherein they can act, and also look good. And they can also do something, which is very significant to the society,” she stated.
The actress acknowledged the significant contributions made by Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir to the film industry. “What they are doing is… of course they are adding a lot of revenue to the film industry and we should be eternally grateful to them. Also, they are engaging with a mass of people, who need that kind of engagement,” Ranaut said. Kangana Ranaut also expressed her regret over not having the chance to direct the late actor Irrfan Khan, whom she considered one of her favorite Khans. “One actor that I always regret not being able to direct is Irfan Khan saab (sir); he is one of my favourite Khans and I would always miss him,” she added.
While the three Khans have never appeared together in a single film, Shah Rukh and Salman have shared the screen in movies like “Karan Arjun” and “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, while Salman and Aamir co-starred in the cult classic “Andaz Apna Apna”. Kangana Ranaut’s dream of directing the trio in a film that showcases their talent and social impact remains an exciting prospect for fans of Indian cinema.
