DN Nagar police in Mumbai have registered an FIR against Kangana Ranaut‘s bodyguard Kumar Hegde in a rape, unnatural sex and cheating case.
A woman had lodged a complaint with the police, on May 19, alleging that Kumar Hegde had cheated on her, sexually assaulted her several times and even taken Rs 50,000 from her.
According to the FIR, Hegde promised to marry a 30-year-old beautician in June last year. He also asked for a live-in relationship to which the victim accepted, as she had hoped to get married to him.
The victim, in her statement, told police that they knew each other for the past eight years and revealed that she refused to have a physical relationship with him but he pushed her into it.
The case has been registered under sections 376, 377, and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and is currently under investigation.
