Multiple National Award winner Kangana Ranaut is an actress who never shies away from speaking her mind. Apart from being in the headlines for all the wrong reasons, Kangana often comes up with hard-hitting films where she wins the hearts of audience with her performances. She recently released her production venture ‘Tiku Weds Sheru’ and she is all set to arrive with her debut directorial ‘Emergency’.
As the title suggests, the movie talks about India’s first woman Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Kangana plays the powerful lady’s role and the team released an announcement video revealing that the movie will be hitting the screens on 24th November. ‘Emergency’ showcases the challenges faced by Indira Gandhi during the time when she implement ‘Emergency’ in the country.
The video is intense and creates a lot of hype on the movie. Apart from Kangana Ranaut, the film’s cast includes Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman, Vishak Nair, Satish Kaushik and others. Kangana is producing the film under Manikarnika Films banner while she provided the story and did the direction. Ritesh Shah has penned the screenplay and dialogues.
