‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ was back to rocking the headlines because of its great performance at the box office and appreciation it has been getting from fans and critics alike.
However, it has also been in the news for co-director Krish’s controversial claims ranging from Kangana Ranaut’s take over as director, to her directing just about over 35% of the film contrary to her claims of shooting 70% and even alleging that she cut out several other scenes of important characters.
Amidst all the bad blood being spilt on tabloid pages, Kangana’s sister, Rangoli Chandel has come to her defence and requested Krish to let the actress enjoy her moment of success.
Rangoli posted, “DirKrish chalo man liya you directed the whole film now please calm down, still, Kangana is the leading face of the film let her enjoy this moment of her success and great appreciation, please leave her alone, we all believe you now please take a seat.”
‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi’ made a splash at the domestic and international box offices by reportedly crossing the Rs 50 crore mark worldwide, despite stiff competition at the ticket window.
