Hyderabad: Rajamouli’s RRR had taken movie production to the next level and also increased expectations from his films among the audience. RRR set new records across the world with a box office collection of Rs 1,200 crore.
On June 20, the Hindi version of the movie was streamed on Netflix and since then, the director has been receiving appreciation from the audience abroad. Several Hollywood stars also showered encomiums on the ‘Baahubali’ director.
Rajamouli aka Jakkanna had already confirmed a film with Superstar Mahesh Babu and the story would for this would revolve around an adventurous man crisscrossing the globe. He had already said that his movie with Mahesh Babu would be a mammoth project in his career.
Of late, there is an interesting update about the movie. There is information that Kollywood hero Karthi would play a key role in Rajamouli-Mahesh film. There is talk that Karthi also is interested in working for the film. The crew of the movie reportedly got in touch with the Kollywood hero.
However, there is no confirmation from Karthi about the news. It is also learnt that talks are on with actress Deepika Padukone for essaying the heroine role.
Rajamouli is busy completing the script work for the film. The story for the movie was written by his father Vijayendra Prasad. K.L Narayana is the producer of the film and the shooting is likely to begin next year.
