In the latest episode of Karthika Deepam, Anand Rao and Soundarya emotionally plead Deepa to give them some time in handing over Hima to her. Deepa agrees to wait for four more days. She questions Soundarya how she will convince Karthik for this. Soundarya promises to figure out something soon.
On their way back home, Hima thanks Karthik for saving her friend’s father. She says living without father is a pain. She asks Karthik to drive home fast as Vantalakka (Deepa) might be waiting for her. Karthik decides to know the reason behind Deepa’s sudden affection towards Hima.
Deepa heads home and Monitha calls her. Much to Monitha’s surprise, Deepa cuts her call. After waiting for Deepa for a long time, the lawyer leaves citing an urgent work.
Deepa finally arrives and Monitha lashes out at her for the delay. Deepa, who is now aware that Hima is her daughter and Monitha is just bluffing about the same, pretends to be innocent.
She pleads Monitha to show her daughter first assuring to sign on the divorce documents later. At the same time, Deepa rebels against her.
Monitha is shocked by Deepa’s behaviour. She demands Deepa to sign the papers first. Deepa refuses to sign and continues to plead Monitha. Puzzled by Deepa’s confidence, Monitha leaves. Deepa determines to take revenge for the trauma she had to undergo.
