In the latest episode of Karthika Deepam, Karthik has a nightmare where Sourya reveals to Hima that he is her father. He wakes up and dreads of his dream coming true. He is afraid that he would become a villain to his daughter (Hima) then. As Hima is about to leave, he asks her not to go to school for a couple of days. Soundarya asks him the reason behind this unusual condition. He refuses to explain further and leaves. Hima says she will better obey him.
At home, Bhagyam finds Murali Krishna gloomy. As he is worried that Deepa is depressed for some reason, Bhagyam pacifies and makes him eat some food. She says that Deepa has the strength and ability to weather any storm.
Meanwhile, Sourya finds Deepa unwell. Deepa blames Karthik for her condition. Sourya says Karthik showered some much care and concern over her when she (Deepa) was missing. Sourya adds that she felt so happy when she called him ‘nanna’ (Daddy) and he didn’t even object to it but indeed took care of her like her father. Deepa says he is just being nice to her (Sourya) and it is not a sign of accepting them. Sourya then asks Deepa about where she has been all this while. Deepa assures to reveal at the right time. Sourya determines to find out the truth.
At home, Soundarya complains to Anand Rao about Karthik’s weird behaviour and thinks about the possible reasons behind it.
