Karthikeya Gummakonda attracted viewers as an actor with his unconventional looks and strong performance in the film, RX100. Even though he is facing bumps in his career with one hit and few flops, the actor is looking forward to using the opportunities presented to him in best possible way and make a lasting impression on audiences to become a star hero.
He acted with Nani in Gangleader as an antagonist and that caught the eye of H. Vinoth, filmmaker from Tamil Cinema. The director gave him an opportunity to play negative lead in Ajith Kumar’s Valimai.
Karthikeya grabbed this opportunity and he played a thief who uses racing motor bikes to escape from the situation. Ajith will be seen as a cop who will try to catch the gang headed by Karthikeya, in the film.
The actor talking to press said that he is thankful to Ajith for his valuable lessons in racing. Those helped him in playing the character and he also thanked the actor for his life lessons too.
He thanked director H. Vinoth for the opportunity and wished that audiences globally will love their film. Valimai produced by Boney Kapoor on Bay View Projects is releasing on 24th February in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi all over India and worldwide.
Yuvan Shankar Raja composed music for the film and fans of Ajith are eager to watch their star on screen after a gap of 3 years. Previously, Ajith appeared in Nerkonda Parvaai directed by H. Vinoth, remake of Pink. Boney Kapoor produced the Telugu remake, Vakeel Saab starring Pawan Kalyan, Nivedha Thomas based on Ajith’s movie.
