KCR and Modi to share the same stage

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi and Bharatiya Janata Party are allies, or at least that was the case until the Huzurabad by-polls. Things got tricky after Etela Rajendar joined the BJP, and things became complicated between the two parties after the BJP won the Huzurabad by-polls. KCR declared an all-out war against the BJP since then, even staging protests against the centre led BJP.

KCR staged and participated in protests against the centre led BJP against the Modi government’s decision not to procure paddy from Telangana in rabi season. The rest of the members of the TRS too, including KTR and others, are also constantly attacking the BJP, with KCR skipping many video conferences with the PM, who spoke to the CMs of all the states about the coronavirus situation in those states.

At a time like this, KCR and Modi are about to share the same stage, thanks to Chinna Jeeyar Swamy, who has set up a 216-feet tall statue of Ramanuja Charya at his ashram in Munchintal on Hyderabad city outskirts near Shamshabad. The inauguration of this “Statue of Equality” is scheduled for February 5th, and both Modi and KCR have been invited to the event. KCR won’t be missing out on the event, as he is an ardent follower of Chinna Jeeyar Swamy. It is now going to be interesting to see what consequences this would result in.
