After getting elected as floor leader, K Chandrasekhar Rao has interacted with the media. Like always, he once again made interesting statements and this time he went back in time.
A journalist had asked him why he did not merge his TRS party with Congress after granting Telangana as separate state. To this KCR replied that, “Yes I met Sonia Gandhi to thank her and during then I asked her to make me Telangana Congress president. But she did not get convinced with my proposal and so I did not merge my party.”
He also opined that there would be no benefit for Congress even merging TRS because people had faith in him.
Whatever it is KCR wants to lead from the front for Telangana and so he did take risk which paid off!
