Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao had fixed his next political target. He is aspiring to foray into national politics and he has been flaunting his newfound love openly.
With a big aim to bring a front as an alternative to Congress and Bharatiya Janata Party, KCR is playing his cards right.
For this, KCR had planned a schedule to meet like-minded leaders from other states. Starting with Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, KCR is likely to meet the Chief Ministers of West Bengal and Tamil Nadu as well.
Amid the meeting to bring the anti-BJP forces under one roof, KCR received a phone call from TMC Chief and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. It is said that Mamata had extended her support to KCR on his mission during the alleged phone call.
It is also said that Mamata had spoken about various issues with her counterpart and reportedly highlighted the importance of bringing an alternative force and spoke extensively on how to work together to achieve the massive dream.
Media reports also said that, besides KCR, Mata also spoke to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Stalin and discussed her plan to bring the forces together.
Mamata locked horns with the BJP during the general elections in West Bengal. We have to wait and see how the regional leaders will fare in bringing an alternative force.
